In todays world of digital this, and digital that, not to mention AI generated music, you never know what you're gettin'. Here's some analog , tube amp, homegrown Blues made the old fashioned way! From traditional Blues, to a little taste of Texas Swing Blues, this record promises a great time! If you're a fan you know. If not.....listen you will be.

THE RUB is a five piece blues band from the Dallas, Texas area, fronted by Blues Harp player & Singer, John Homesley.  Winner, two years in a row of the Simply Texas Blues Festival, and Semi-Finalists in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. They have opened for national acts,  such as the Texas Headhunters and  blues  guitarist Ian Moore.  Playing across Texas,  Louisana, & Tennesee (to date), They  offer  up-tempo, foot-stomping, good-feeling, blues/rock music (with a few surprises here & there). Always  guaranteeing  a great time ... and they deliver!!  They're not your same tired old tear in your beer blues band.  To the contrary, they're  much more.  A lot of years in experience that add up to a great time.  The Rub blends covers of favorite blues tunes along with their own original material - each song a crowd pleaser.  Give them a spin ... you'll be glad you did!
